These Terms govern the purchase of paid placement on the public leaderboard at dethrone.lol.

These Terms are governed by Czech law, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code. If you buy as a consumer, nothing here limits the rights Czech consumer law gives you.
We sell a single digital service: your Shopify app is listed on the leaderboard at dethrone.lol, at a position determined by the ranking rule in section 4. Nothing physical is shipped and no advertising service beyond the listing itself is provided.
The listing displays your app's name, logo, tagline and rating, taken from your public Shopify App Store listing at the moment you bid, together with a link to that listing.
Dethrone is an independent website. It is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Shopify Inc., and a position on the leaderboard has no effect on your app's ranking inside the Shopify App Store.
The service is intended for businesses — developers and publishers of Shopify apps. By bidding on an app you confirm that you are entitled to promote it, or that promoting it does not infringe anyone's rights. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract. No account is created; each payment stands on its own.
Positions are not fixed and are not sold as fixed. The rule, in full:
Submitting a bid and opening checkout is your offer to buy. The contract is concluded when your payment is successfully authorised, and the listing (or the addition to an existing listing's 30-day total) takes effect at that moment.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive, handle, or store your
card details. Charges appear on your statement as
DETHRONE. Every payment is a one-off; nothing
auto-renews and there is no subscription.
Delivery is electronic and immediate: the board updates the moment your payment lands. By purchasing you expressly ask us to begin supplying the service immediately and acknowledge that, under §1837 of the Civil Code, you thereby lose the consumer right of withdrawal — the service is consumed by being performed, and a completed period of listing cannot be returned.
If we fail to list your app at all, you get a full refund.
We may remove a listing that is unlawful, misleading, infringes third-party rights, or no longer corresponds to a live Shopify App Store listing. If we remove a listing for such a reason, amounts already paid are not refunded. If we ever remove a listing for our own reasons, we refund the amounts paid for it in the preceding 30 days.
We promise placement according to section 4 and nothing else. We make no promise of visitors, installs, sales, or any other outcome. We are liable for damage we cause as required by Czech law; beyond what the law does not allow us to exclude, our total liability in connection with any payment is limited to the amount of that payment. Short interruptions in the site's availability do not extend a listing and do not found a claim.
Send complaints to [email protected] with the app and the approximate time of payment. We confirm receipt without undue delay and resolve consumer complaints within 30 days. If we cannot resolve a complaint, a consumer may bring it to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Štěpánská 44, 110 00 Praha 1, adr.coi.cz, which handles out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes free of charge.
We may update these Terms. The version in force when your payment is authorised governs that payment; changes never apply retroactively to placement you have already bought.
